The Power Of Health Habits

February 26, 2019

Motivation is what gets you started. Habit is what keeps you going. When you want something different we have to do something different. If the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over expecting a different result why do we do the same thing over and over and over again and expect a different result?

We start a routine only to go back to our old habits. I myself am guilty of this and it’s something I challenge myself to improve upon. I think eventually you have to get to the point where you are truly fed up. Your why has to truly be bigger than you. People ask me all the time what’s my motivation? My motivation is my future husband and unborn child. It’s the time I will get to spend actually being there for the small things. It’s the early mornings, the quality moments and the priceless memories we will create. My why also includes my parents. Although they are healthy now, one day if they are not or need me I want to be there if anything happens.

What is your motivation? What’s your why? What will it take for your to get fed up and take action? Instead of a New Year’s resolution, I want to encourage you to make 3 small personal goals and 3 professional goals daily. They don’t have to be huge goals. Just something to hold yourself accountable. Success is a lot of small things done well. #Day363
